The Convenience Center is a service offered to all Wilton residents within city limits.

Items Accepted at no charge at the Center:
Yard Waste- Grass, leaves, plants and shrubs, Tree Branches & Recyclables such as:
Plastic bottles & jugs: rinsed out with water
Plastic #1 to #7 with recycle symbol (#6 items are not recyclable)
Newspaper: tie with string or place in bags Tin/Aluminum Cans
Newspapers & magazines Scrap Metal-steel
Cardboard: flatten cartons or use a large box to hold cardboard
Items Accepted for a fee:
Solid Waste: Regular household garbage: $2.00 per bag (30 gallon or less & weigh less than 50 lbs)
Contractor size garbage bags over 30 gallon $4.00 per bag
Electronic Devices: radios, stereos, computers & copiers: $5.00 + $5.00 for curb pickup per item
Furniture/mattresses/carpet: $5.00 per item (carpet for 12 X 12 room = one item) + $5.00 for curb pickup
Sinks/bath tubs/toilet: $10.00 per item add $5.00 for curb pickup per item
Tires: Car -$6.00, on rim $8.00, Truck-$16.00, on rim $18.00 + $5.00 for curb pickup per item
TV’s/ Monitors: CRT TV (Tube TV) $25 Flat Screen TV $15 + $5.00 for curb pickup per item
Appliances: $15.00 per appliance add $5.00 for curb pickup per item
Refrigerators, freezers, stoves, furnaces, dehumidifiers, microwaves,
washers, dryers, air conditioners, dishwashers, water heaters & softeners
*Camper refrigerators are NOT accepted
