The Wilton Parks and Recreation Department offers youth and adult recreation programs and community-wide special events year-round. Community support and volunteers are crucial to the success of our programs and events. Youth in grades Pre-K to 7th will begin indoor practice in early-March and will practice and play games outdoors at Cherrydale Park on a varying schedule. Wilton Parks and Recreation Baseball/Softball Leagues include:
Coach Pitch Minors - Boys and girls currently enrolled in their final year of Pre-K or currently enrolled in Kindergarten are eligible to participate in these coed teams. Players will have three attempts to hit from a coach pitch before using a tee to hit.
Coach Pitch Majors Baseball - Boys currently enrolled in 1st or 2nd grade are eligible to participate in this coach pitch league. Tees will not be available.
Coach Pitch Majors Softball - Girls currently enrolled in 1st or 2nd grade are eligible to participate in this coach pitch league. Tees will not be available.
Minors Baseball - Boys currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th grade will compete against other area teams either at home or away.
Minors Softball - Girls currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th grade will compete against other area teams either at home or away.
Majors Baseball - Boys currently enrolled in 5th or 6th grade will compete against other area teams either at home or away.
Majors Softball - Girls currently enrolled in 5th or 6th grade will compete against other are teams either at home or away.
Pony League Baseball - Boys currently enrolled in 7th grade will compete against other are teams either at home or away.
Online registration begins Monday, January 22. The registration deadline is Friday, February 23.
